Fans of the Flyers have been reading a lot about the abundance of young talent throughout the team’s farm system.
Beginning Monday at the Flyers Training Center in Voorhees, N.J., those loyal followers will get a chance to see 41 hopefuls in person when the annual Development Camp gets underway.
The camp will have on-ice sessions on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, according to Flyers general manager Daniel Briere.
The Flyers Player Development Staff, led by Director of Player Development, Riley Armstrong, and his staff, along with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms coaches will lead the on-ice sessions.
The 41 players will be split into three groups for on-ice power skating and skill sessions and two teams for games and practices: Team Briere and Team Jones (named for team president Keith Jones).
On-ice sessions Monday and Tuesday begin at 10 a.m.
All six of the Flyers draftees from the 2026 NHL Draft, including Maksim Sokolovskii (27th overall) are scheduled to attend.
Other former top draft picks who will participate include three players who saw extensive action with the Flyers this past season: Alex Bump, Denver Barkey and Porter Martone.
The list of attendees also includes position players Jett Luchanko (1st round draft pick, 2024), Oliver Bonk (1st round, 2024), Jack Berglund (2nd round, 2024), Jack Murtagh (2nd round, 2025) and Brek Liske (2nd round, 2026). Five young goaltenders will be on hand, including Martin Psohlavec (2nd round, 2026) and Carson Bjarnson (second round, 2023).
The camp will feature a scrimmage on Thursday at 6 p.m. and will conclude with a three-on-three tournament on Friday at 10 a.m.
All on-ice sessions are free and open to the public.
On Wednesday, all Flyers fans are invited to The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia for an autograph session with the players participating in development camp. Players will appear from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. to meet fans and sign autographs, but fans are encouraged to come as early as 2:00 p.m. to enjoy Flyers activities, including appearances by Gritty, the Flyers Ice Team, and more.
Fans will need to purchase a museum ticket for admission to the event at tickets.fi.edu.
