Hey kids! If you are 12 and under, you get in free to Flyers Wives Carnival

PHILADELPHIA – It’s good to be young, especially if you haven’t reached your 13th birthday yet and you plan on going to the 42nd annual Flyers Wives Carnival.

On Thursday, the Flyers announced that all children 12 and under can receive free admission to the big event on Sunday, Nov. 18.

Fans who purchase a full price admission ticket may now receive up to four free children’s tickets. General admission tickets are $25 and the Carnival is set to begin at 11 a.m. inside the Wells Fargo Center.

There promises to be plenty of excitement, starting with an appearance by Flyers mascot Gritty. Look for Gritty to be on hand throughout the entirety of the event as well as taking part in Carnival games with fans and players alike.

Other new attractions include a behind-the-scenes tour of the Flyers’ locker room. Offered for the first time, Carnival attendees have the option to purchase tickets in advance of the Carnival to enjoy this 15-minute tour inside the team’s game-night dressing room.

Fans can also look forward to stepping outside and enjoying a brand-new outdoor obstacle zone as a part of their Carnival-day agenda. This fun-filled set up will include inflatable obstacles courses and games for all ages.

For 42 years, Flyers Charities, the organizing foundation behind the Carnival, has raised more than $27 million to support a multitude of worthy non-profit organizations across the Greater Philadelphia Region that provide educational and recreational resources to underserved youth, engage in important medical and healthcare research and promote countless community investment initiatives to positively influence the community.

These organizations include Michael’s Way, the Center for Autism, Snider Hockey, Liberty USO, Living Beyond Breast Cancer, Mission Kids, PAWS, Ronald McDonald House of Philadelphia, and Simon’s Heart.

This year’s Flyers Wives Carnival is presented by Comcast, NBC10 and Telemundo62, and NBC Sports Philadelphia.
