The holiday season has come to a close but some acts of good will just keep on giving.
The memories kids at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia have from a recent visit by several Flyers might just last a liftime.
Taking part in the trip were forward Taylor Leier, defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere and goaltender Michal Neuvirth.
The Flyers make periodic visits to CHOP but the ones around the Christmas holiday seem to be just a little special.
It’s all part of the spirit of charity cultivated by the 40-year Flyers Wives Fight for Lives Carnival, which takes place at the Wells Fargo Center each year. Since 1977, more than $25 million has been raised for non-profit organizations.
The smiles on the youngsters faces tell the whole story. Words of encouragement from their favorite athletes are priceless.
