The Flyers will be without defenseman Jamie Drysdale due to an upper-body injury for at least two games as he was placed on injured reserve Friday. The move is retroactive to Jan. 6. Drysdale was injured in a collision with Anaheim’s Ross Johnston in Tuesday night’s home game against the Ducks.
Philadelphia is scheduled to play a rare pair of home games on Saturday and Monday against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Defenseman Adam Ginning was called up from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms on Friday to help fill Drysdale’s vacancy.
Forwards Bobby Brink and Travis Konecny are day-to-day with upper-body injuries. Both were hurt in Thursday night’s game against Toronto.
