
Hockey in July, does it get any cooler than that?
The Flyers have invited a total of 46 players to their 2025 Development Camp, which opens on Wednesday at the Flyers Training Center in Voorhees, N.J.
The camp will run for five days through Sunday, July 6.
The Flyers’ player development staff, led by director of player development Riley Armstrong, along with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms coaches, will lead the on-ice sessions.
The camp will conclude with a five-on-five scrimmage on Sunday, at 6 p.m. All on-ice sessions are free and open to the public.
The players will be split into two teams: Team Briere and Team Jones.
All nine of the Flyers’ draftees from the 2025 NHL Draft, including Porter Martone (6th overall) and Jack Nesbitt (12th overall) are scheduled to attend.

>Wednesday: Team Jones – Defense/forwards: 8:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. Full team: 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.; Team Briere: Defense/forwards: 10:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Full team: 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
>Thursday: Team Briere – Defenseman/forwards: 8:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. Full team: 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.; Team Jones: Defensemen/forwards: 10:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Full team: 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
>Friday: No ice.

>York gets qualifying offer
Flyers defenseman Cam York was extended a contract offer on Monday. He made $1.6 million each of the past two seasons. The Flyers retain his contract negotiations rights.
The Flyers did not extend contract offers to Elliot Desnoyers, Zayde Wisdom and Jakob Pelletier.
