A new Flyers’ first line? Actually, it’s Adelyn Perez (age 3) of Doylestown hanging out with her pals on Flyers Community Day.

What better way to celebrate a big win at Pittsburgh on Saturday night than with a day of meeting and interacting with fans as the Christmas season gets underway.

That’s what the Flyers did on Sunday during what was dubbed the first Flyers Community Day.

Players joined forces with alumni, front office staff and season ticket holders to take part in four separate community initiatives across the Greater Philadelphia Area.
Players and volunteers were divided across each location, with popular mascot Gritty also making appearances at several of the four meeting places.
